Alum Sarah O'Shea appointed OCI's Honorary Secretary General

Alum Sarah O'Shea (FMA'06) was appointed Honorary Secretary General of the Olympic Counsel of Ireland.

Sarah will be part of a new Olympic Counsel of Ireland composed of Sarah Keane (President), Colm Barrington (First Vice President) and Robert Norwood (Second Vice President) who face a big challenge to regain the public trust following the ticket touting at last year's Rio Games. The new elected president pointed out that "there's a big job of work to be done. What we need to do now is deliver for Irish Sport. We need to look at the vision of the organisation. We are a great nation and we want to do ourselves proud on the international stage."

One thing for certain is that the FMA is proud and wish to congratulate Sarah on her election.
