FIFA Master Alumni in Action: Mohsen Gilani (FMA'03) Running for PFF Presidency
The FIFA Master Alumni Association (FMA) proudly highlights the inspiring journey of Mohsen Gilani (Class of 2003), who has officially entered the race to become the next President of the Pakistan Football Federation (PFF).
Mohsen who is also a part of Oxford Alumni Network brings with him years of strategic leadership in international football, having worked across over 100 countries, including extensive contributions to FIFA Member Association planning, and advisory roles with FIFA, confederations, and some of the world’s leading sports organisations in sport.
His rich career includes:
- Co-author of the FIFA World Report on Football Development and co-author of FIFA study on best practices in world football
- Worked closely with FC Midtjylland (Denmark) one of the most successful clubs in Denmark who played UEFA Champions league and former VP of Umeå IK (Sweden), one of the most successful clubs in UEFA Women’s Champions League history
- Former Board Member of the FIFA Master Alumni Association
- Deep involvement in football development, governance, and business strategy for elite clubs and institutions
As a long-standing contributor to the global football ecosystem, Mohsen’s journey from the halls of the FIFA Master to leadership roles across continents exemplifies the impact and reach of the FIFA Master community.
