FMA Delegation Shines at Confut USA in Miami
On 11–12 June 2025, several FIFA Master alumni convened in Miami for a regional gathering coinciding with the inaugural edition of Confut USA — a prominent B2B trade event in the football industry.
In addition to informal social meetups, the group also held a formal FMA meeting during the event. Notably, a number of alumni were featured as speakers and moderators, further showcasing the presence and influence of the FIFA Master network in global football.

Elaine Lemos (FMA’15), Vice President of Sporting Operations at U.S. Soccer Federation, and André Zanotta (FMA’10), Chief Soccer Officer at FC Dallas, who took part in a panel on strategic data integration in football.
Elaine also featured on a panel titled Beyond Partnerships. -
John Siner (FMA’02), Founder at Tropical Rugby, moderated a discussion on Fan Engagement.

Henrique Pelosi (FMA’13), Senior Sales Manager, Global Partnerships at SPORTFIVE, contributed to a session on the difference between football leagues' models across the globe.

Pedro Trengrouse (FMA’04), Senior Partner at Trengrouse & Gonçalves Advogados and Vice President of the FMA Committee, participated in a panel focused on Governance and Regulatory Guidelines for Adopting the Multi-Club Ownership Model.

João Frigerio (FMA’05), Founder of iWorkinSport and Executive Director of the FMA Committee, moderated a session titled “The Sports Talent Market in the USA: How Soccer Organizations Attract and Retain Top-Level Professionals”, featuring HR leaders from FC Dallas, U.S. Soccer Federation, and Concacaf.
Beyond the professional engagements, the event provided an excellent opportunity for alumni to reconnect. Several attended the conference, while others joined for a casual group dinner — with a special mention to the 4th edition of the Master, who held their own celebratory gathering.
The atmosphere was warm, fun, and energising — and this regional meeting laid the foundation for a much larger FMA World Gathering, set to take place in the U.S. during the FIFA World Cup 2026.
